About the Event
“HE, SHE AND KOTLIAREVSKY” LIVE IN GENEVA FOUR PEOPLE’S ARTISTS OF UKRAINE IN ONE PLAY
On March 8, 2027, the First Antrepriza and Comedy Theatre presents “He, She and Kotliarevsky” in Geneva, billed as the brightest premiere of the season. Venue: Uptown Geneva / Salle Broadway. Start: 19:00. The show is part of a European tour in March 2027.
A light, witty and spirited comedy with a brilliant cast. Four People’s Artists of Ukraine appear in one production: Olha Komanovska, Serhiy Kalantay, Anatoliy Hnatyuk and Volodymyr Nikolayenko.
“He, She and Kotliarevsky” is a theatrical mix inspired by the works of Ivan Kotliarevsky. The creators gathered the best of his dramaturgy, the brightest characters, comic situations, love collisions and unmistakable Ukrainian humour, and brought it all together in one play. It is a chance to look at Kotliarevsky in a new way, in a contemporary stage interpretation performed by four People’s Artists of Ukraine.
Love, jealousy, cunning and unexpected twists. Vivid characters, live music, real Ukrainian humour and brilliant acting. Two hours of light comedy and a great mood.
